ROYAL BRITISH LEGION

Army Squash could not be prouder to announce the new partnership with our new sponsors the Royal British Legion.
The three year agreement will provide financial support to a host of squash opportunities ranging from individual coaching sessions, to overseas tours and competition against squash clubs around the world. It was a pleasure to meet Chris Dodd (RBL) at the recent UKAFSRA Individual Squash Championships in Portsmouth . Chris chatted with the soldiers taking part and made it clear that RBL’s involvement with Army Squash will cover Army elite to grass roots level.
Chris was presented with an Army Squash tie from our Operations Manager Lt Col (Retd) Dave Campey which we hope to see him wearing at future Army Squash events, where our players will be proudly sporting the RBL logo on their new playing shirts in the 2024/25 season.
RBL provide lifelong support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families and our soldiers will continue to support them during the annual poppy appeal and throughout the year

ARMY SPORTS LOTTERY

The Army Sports Lottery (ASL) was established in Sept. 93 to provide additional non-public funds for sport to those available from other sources. ASL is registered with the Gambling Commission and is administered by ‘Army Sport’ which has charitable status.

ASL is a series of weekly lotteries. Tickets cost £1.00 each per week with a maximum of 6 tickets per person. Winners are determined by a random number selector system

ACTIVITIES WE SUPPORT

  • Individual officers, soldiers and teams undertaking an authorised Overseas Tour/Visit.
  • Olympic, World, Commonwealth Games and other International competitors.
  • AWSA Winter Sports Competitions.
  • Army Sport Charitable Fund.
  • Coaching and Officiating Courses
  • Other sporting activities/requirements.
