National Club Championship Army v Peterborough

Some thrilling and close games against the Peterborough team, Capt Higgins on first against Darcie-Rose with some nail-biting game points in multiple games alongside some fantastic volley drops from both players, with Darcie-Rose just gaining the upper hand in cross-court volley drops. Maj Radcliffe up next, struggled to get into the match with nerves affecting length and tactical play, she finally settled down in the 3^rd game, but unfortunately too little too late. Last up Capt Hamilton, with some cool headed digging out the back corners and good cross court lengths, making the court bigger to stretch her opponent. Unfortunately any shots not glued to the wall were clinically dispatched by Ali, showcasing the next level up in ball control. Some good individual development points for each player to work on and overall generated an awareness and interest in Army squash amongst all teams.
